Does the dashcam record automatically?

Yes, as soon as you start the car, the dashcam automatically starts recording. You don't have to do anything yourself.

Does the dashcam also work when the car is turned off?

Yes, as soon as you turn off the car, the SafeVision Pro automatically switches to smart parking mode. In this mode, it immediately records any movement or vibration, even when the engine is completely off.

 

The dashcam consumes very little power in this mode and does not pose a risk to your battery. Thanks to the built-in voltage protection, it automatically switches off if the battery level gets too low. This way, your car is always ready to start.

 

In practice, you can safely leave your car parked for more than a week, or even several weeks, without worries. Are you not using the car at all temporarily, for example during a vacation? Then you can manually turn off the dashcam – but that is not necessarily required.
