Yes, the installation is simple. You attach the dashcam with a suction cup to the windshield and connect it to the cigarette lighter. You do not need to drill or screw. The included installation video shows exactly how to connect everything and neatly hide the cables

Does the dashcam record automatically?

Yes, as soon as you start the car, the ClearSight Pro automatically starts recording. You don't have to turn on anything yourself.

Does the dashcam also work when the car is turned off?

Yes, as soon as you turn off the car, the ClearSight Pro automatically switches to smart parking mode. In this mode, it immediately records any movement or vibration, even if the engine is completely off.

 

The dashcam consumes very little power and poses no risk to your battery. Thanks to the built-in voltage protection, it automatically switches off as soon as the battery level gets too low. So your car is always ready to start.

 

In practice, you can leave your car parked without worries for more than a week to even several weeks. If you really leave your vehicle unused for a longer period, such as during a vacation, you can optionally turn off the dashcam manually, although this is usually not necessary.

Does the ClearSight Pro have night vision?
